Arena Pony Monoflap Dressage
The Arena Pony Monoflap Dressage is a slimline monoflap dressage saddle with HART, for young riders on ponies who want close leg contact.
It is a good next step for a child moving on from a double-flap dressage saddle, in training and at competitions. Your thigh rides in and behind the soft, fixed front knee support, which gives good leg contact and communication with your pony.
If you want more support, you can add a front Flexibloc. Your pony can move freely and stay comfortable as their shape changes, and the saddle is made from European leather with a technical, wipe-clean lining.
HART: Horse and Rider Technology
Horse and Rider Technology is the epitome of comfort with the added practicality of being fully adjustable, so you and your horse are presentation perfect throughout your journey.
- Elastiflex tree: flexes with your horse's stride, so their back can swing and move naturally, and helps protect the spine from concussive forces.
- EASY-CHANGE Fit Solution: you or your saddle fitter can change the width of the Elastiflex tree with the EASY-CHANGE Gullet System, and change the depth of the panel to alter the balance with the EASY-CHANGE Riser System.
- CAIR Cushion System: air cushions stay in contact with your horse's moving back muscles, spreading pressure evenly and absorbing shock so your horse can move freely.

Size Guide
For your saddle
- Check your saddle is perfectly positioned. Locate the slope of you horse’s shoulder and assess the alignment of the saddle nail. For the perfect comfortable position, the saddle nail should be approximately a three-finger distance from the edge of your horse’s shoulder.
For your horse
- Saddle up your horse without a saddle pad* and with the girth comfortably tightened, as if you were about to ride.
- Ensure your horse is standing square and on level ground.
All fitting adjustments and saddle alterations should be made in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.*For your safety, ensure your horse is OK with you assessing the fit without a saddle cloth before attempting to do so.

How is a monoflap different from a double-flap saddle?
A monoflap has one flap where a double-flap saddle has two, so there is less leather between your leg and your pony.Which riser pack fits the Arena Pony Monoflap Dressage?
The EASY-CHANGE Riser System: Pony/Jump Pack. The Standard Pack and Standard Starter Pack are not suitable for pony saddles.Which girth do I need?
It has long double girth points, so it takes a short girth, such as the Arena Comfort Girth (short). -
Approximate weight: 4.2 kg/9.3 lb. Weights vary a little by size and options. Fitted with a Medium (black) EASY-CHANGE gullet. The EASY-CHANGE Gullet System: Complete Kit, EASY-CHANGE Riser System: Pony/Jump Pack and EASY-CHANGE Gullet Gauge are available separately, as are a girth and stirrup leathers.
