Arena High Wither General Purpose
The Arena High Wither General Purpose is a general purpose saddle with HART, designed for horses with a high wither. Use it for flatwork, jumping and riding out.
You get a balanced, supported seat, with front and rear Flexiblocs and a padded knee insert to help you keep your position over a fence or out on a ride.
Your horse can stay as comfortable as you are as their back and topline change. It is made from European leather with a technical, wipe-clean lining.
HART: Horse and Rider Technology
Horse and Rider Technology is the epitome of comfort with the added practicality of being fully adjustable, so you and your horse are presentation perfect throughout your journey.
- Elastiflex tree: flexes with your horse's stride, so their back can swing and move naturally, and helps protect the spine from concussive forces.
- EASY-CHANGE Fit Solution: you or your saddle fitter can change the width of the Elastiflex tree with the EASY-CHANGE Gullet System, and change the depth of the panel to alter the balance with the EASY-CHANGE Riser System.
- CAIR Cushion System: air cushions stay in contact with your horse's moving back muscles, spreading pressure evenly and absorbing shock so your horse can move freely.

Size Guide
For your saddle
- Check your saddle is perfectly positioned. Locate the slope of you horse’s shoulder and assess the alignment of the saddle nail. For the perfect comfortable position, the saddle nail should be approximately a three-finger distance from the edge of your horse’s shoulder.
For your horse
- Saddle up your horse without a saddle pad* and with the girth comfortably tightened, as if you were about to ride.
- Ensure your horse is standing square and on level ground.
All fitting adjustments and saddle alterations should be made in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.*For your safety, ensure your horse is OK with you assessing the fit without a saddle cloth before attempting to do so.

Why does it come with a Medium Narrow gullet?
High Wither models are fitted with a Medium Narrow (green) gullet rather than the Medium (black) most Arena saddles have. The Complete Kit does not include a Medium, so if your horse needs one later, choose it as an individual gullet.Which girth do I need?
It has short triple girth points, so it takes a long girth, such as the Arena Comfort Girth (long). Measure your current girth to choose the length. Can I change the gullet myself?
Yes. The colour-coded plates swap in minutes with the tools in the EASY-CHANGE Gullet System: Complete Kit. A saddle fitter can help you decide which width your horse needs. -
Approximate weight: 6.2 kg/13.7 lb. Weights vary a little by size and options. Fitted with a Medium Narrow (green) EASY-CHANGE gullet. The EASY-CHANGE Gullet System: Complete Kit, EASY-CHANGE Riser System: Standard Pack and EASY-CHANGE Gullet Gauge are available separately, as are a girth and stirrup leathers. Fit is about comfort, balance and how your horse moves, not one number on a chart, so we would always start with a qualified saddle fitter you trust.

- Clean the leather with Arena Glycerine Soap to remove surface dirt and oil, let it dry, then condition it with Arena Leather Balsam.
- Both come in the Arena Leather Care Pack.
- Wipe the technical lining clean with a damp cloth.
- The CAIR cushions are never adjusted themselves, and opening the CAIR security tape voids the warranty.
